Welcome

As parents you are the first educators of your child, when you choose St Mary’s we join you on that journey and work alongside you, so every child becomes the best that they can be. It is a partnership and we work closely together. Each step on the journey is taken together. We welcome all families with children from three years in our Nursery through to 11 years when your child is ready to transfer to secondary school.

Here at St Mary’s children experience warmth and acceptance with high expectations – the sort of safe and supportive environment that builds self-esteem, confidence, independence, positive relationships, and resilience. Our older children work closely with the younger children at play, reading stories in ‘book club’, and become buddies presenting our new starters with their St Mary’s prayer book at the new starter liturgy. At ‘St Mary’s,’ children learn compassion by being cared for and build self-worth by being known and valued. As in a family, children are encouraged to be themselves, develop their personalities, their talents and their interests.
